The Isle of Wight College
The Isle of Wight College provides further and adult educational facilities for the local Island population and specialist courses for the commercial sector, with students attending from all over the world.
The College is affiliated to Bournemouth University for HND courses.

The Training Centre
The Training Centre's aim is to provide quality training to the general public and Island businesses. The Training Centre offers government and ESF training programmes to people aged 16 to 63, and runs an extensive range of short courses.

The Isle of Wight Council
The Isle of Wight Council is a unitary council, formed in 1995 to replace the former county council and two borough councils.
It has 48 councillors, and is the Island's largest employer, with 4,500 employees, of whom nearly half work in schools.
It is adopting the government's modernising agenda for councils, and is keen to forge more partnerships with bodies in the public and private sector.
